Detailed Solution

Besides farming, the other main source of livelihood for some families is selling Milk to cooperatives.
Many small farmers and daily wage labourers own cows and buffaloes whose milk they sell to the cooperatives and earn a little extra income this way. For example, Sekar, a small farmer having just two acres of land who cannot feed his family with a small portion of surplus he gets through the harvest, usually sells the milk of the hybrid cow that he owns and thus earns a little extra money as a surplus to meet the daily needs of the family. A similar thing is done by so many small and even big farmers. It’s a secondary way of earning money in rural areas.
