It is given that Bheem bought 160 kg of bananas at Rs.48 per kg.
Therefore we have,
The cost price of 1 kg of bananas = Rs.48.
So, the cost price of 160 mangoes will be

= R s . 160 × 48 = R s .7680.

Calculating the selling price of the bananas.
Let the selling price of all the bananas is

x .

According to the question, Bheem sold 70% of the bananas at the price of Rs.70 per kg.
Therefore, the selling price of 70% of the bananas is,

= 160 × 70100 × 70 = 70 × 16 × 7 = R s .7840

Bheem sold the remaining bananas at Rs.40 per kg.
Therefore, the selling price of the remaining bananas i.e. 30% of bananas is,

= 160 × 30100 × 40 = 16 × 3 × 40 = R s .1920

Total amount received after selling all the bananas =

R s . 7840 + 1920 = R s .9760.

We know that,
Gain = Selling price - Cost price
Therefore, Gain = 9760-7680 = Rs.2080.
Thus, gain percent on the whole dealing is,

= 20807680 × 100

= 27.08 %

Therefore Bheem’s gain percent on the whole deal is 27.08%.
Hence, option (2) is correct.
