Due to the biological nature of gas generation, the byproducts of anaerobic digestion of organic materials are sometimes referred to as "biogas." The term "biogas technology" describes the anaerobic fermentation of organic material under specific regulated circumstances to produce a combustible gas (referred to as biogas) and a valuable fertiliser (referred to as slurry or sludge).

In order to satisfy the energy demands of the majority of rural residents, especially the poor, a connection between energy and social concerns must be made. In our nation, the vast majority of rural populations have extremely little financial means and want significant structural reforms.

So it stands to reason that biogas is essentially a blend of methane and carbon dioxide.
