Detailed Solution

Birsa munda died due to cholera disease. The British imprisoned Birsa Munda in 1895 because they saw him as a danger to their authority. He received a two-year sentence after being found guilty of rioting. Birsa began travelling to the villages in 1897 after being freed to build support. With the help of traditional images and language, he rallied the people, urging them to destroy "Ravana," or the dikus, and the Europeans in order to establish a kingdom under his control. Birsa and his backers criticised the representations of diku and European authority. They looted churches, police stations, and the mansions of zamindars and moneylenders. The movement, however, came to an end when Birsa passed away in 1900 from cholera.
