Detailed Solution

Bolshevik leader Vladimir Lenin returned to Russia from exile in April 1917.
Vladimir Lenin and the other Bolsheviks were in opposition of the war from the beginning in 1914. After returning from exile in 1917, Vladimir Lenin was assured that this was now the right time for the soviets to take over the power in Russia. He also asserted that the war be brought to an end and the land be given to the peasants, followed by the nationalisation of banks. These three listed demands put forward by Vladimir Lenin were termed as Lenin’s ‘April Theses.’
