Detailed Solution

Bonfires of foreign goods were lit during the Non-Cooperation Movement.
Mahatma Gandhi began the Non-Cooperation movement in 1920 to protest the atrocities committed at Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar. Thousands of students quit government-run institutions and colleges as the movement gained traction. Many well-known attorneys ceased practising law, including Motilal Nehru, CR Das, C Rajagopalachari, and Asaf Ali. People burned foreign clothing and goods on public bonfires. British titles were given up, and lawmakers were dissuaded from attending courts. Between 1920 and 1922, the imports of foreign clothing substantially decreased.
