Boojho made the following circuit and on Paheli’s suggestion, he added one more cell to the circuit. The bulb in the circuit glows when he adds one more cell to the circuit.
Initially, the bulb was not glowing because one cell was unable to provide sufficient voltage to cause the current to glow the bulb.
When one more cell is added to the circuit, the voltage across the circuit doubles, and it becomes sufficient to increase the current. This current heats the bulb's filament sufficiently, and the bulb glows.
