Detailed Solution

Hind Swaraj means home rule. It was written by Mahatma Gandhi in 1909.
It was written in his native language Gujarati. Through the book, he expressed his views on Swaraj, modern civilization, etc. It spoke about unrestricted industrialism and materialism done by the British in India. He also said that the British could rule India only because of the help of the Indians. If Indians refused to cooperate, then the British rule in India would come to an end. In 1910, the book was banned by the British Government. Gandhi's central ideology was the welfare of all and emphasized the betterment of human life.
