FOR THE MOVE
Honorable members of the jury, fellow contestants, and distinguished audience, today I'd like to express my support for the motion "Brain drain is not a curse for a developing country like India." First and foremost, I'd like to know how many educated people travel to foreign nations each year on average. Dear friends, the number is only a few. India, the world's largest democracy, has a population of more than 120 billion people and is rapidly developing. Many students realize their dream of studying abroad and earning a lot of money, however, this is fiction.
The reality is that more than 80% of students who study overseas are ineligible for admission to Indian universities. In truth, brain drain has less impact on emerging countries such as India because the true geniuses remain in our own country. A developing country like India is concerned with its resources. India's most valuable resource is its human capital. India is a place of geniuses and erudite people, as evidenced by its achievements in science and technology, ranging from the Mars Mission to the most recent launch of the IRNSS-1F satellite.
Indian educational institutions are reputed to be among the best in the world.
As a result, a culturally varied, economically robust, and socially linked country like India will never be affected by the insignificant issue of brain drain.
Thank you very much.
