The ciliated epithelium are the columnar epithelial tissues that have hair-like structures on their surface known as cilia. The rhythmic movement of the cilia helps in the movement of materials like liquid or suspended particles constantly in one direction. They are present in the lining of the trachea, kidney tubules, fallopian tubes, etc. 

In bronchioles, cilia move dust particles, germs, and other pollutants upward, so that these particles can be removed from our respiratory tract and lungs.
