Buddhist missionaries from China were the first to introduce hand-printing technology in Japan around A.D. 768-770.
Firstly, Japan introduced Hand printing technology. People used their hands to print something. Then, the paper was brought from China to Europe. China printed books using woodblocks by rubbing the paper against the inked surfaces. Woodblocks were used in printing paper. The Diamond Sutra was the first book published in Japan. This book made people believe what our soul and inner core can do, no other power in the world can. So, Japan was the first in the world to print a book.
