Detailed Solution

Burhan-ul-Mulk Sa‘adat Khan was appointed Subadar of Awadh in 1722.
When the Mughal Empire began to fall apart in 1722, Burhan-ul-Mulk Sa'adat Khan was named subadar of Awadh. He then established one of the most significant states to do so. The wealthy Ganga plain and the primary commerce route connecting Bengal and north India were under the dominion of the opulent Awadh area. Combined subadari, diwani, and faujdari positions were also held by Burhan-ul-Mulk. He oversaw the military, economical, and political affairs of the province of Awadh. Burhan-ul-Mulk made an effort to lessen the number of Mughal appointees to positions of authority in the Awadh province. Jagir sizes were also decreased, and he filled open jobs with his own trusted employees.
