Detailed Solution

The National Socialist German Worker's party was later known as the Nazi party.
The crisis in the Weimar Republic, and the crumbling German economy, polity, and society paved the way for Hitler's rise to power. Hitler joined the German Workers' Party and took it over. Hitler renamed it National Socialist German Workers Party, later known as the Nazi party. Hitler joined this party when it was a small group in 1919. By 1932 it had become the largest party with over 37 per cent of the votes. Hitler used Nazi propaganda to take advantage of the collapsed German society and its demoralised people. His effective well-planned mechanism paved the way for his political power as the Chancellor and later the dictator of Germany.
