Detailed Solution

Super Highways are implemented by NHAI (National Highway Authority of India).
In India, roads are classified into six classes according to their capabilities. They are Golden quadrilateral super highways, National highways, state highways, district roads, and border roads. The government launched a six-lane super highway, a major road development blueprint linking Delhi- Kolkata– Chennai- Mumbai, and Delhi. These highway projects are being implemented by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). The aim of constructing these Superhighways is to reduce the time and distance of travelling between the metropolises of India.
