C₆H₅CONHCH₃ can be converted into C₆H₅CH₂NHCH₃ by

Primary,secondary,and tertiary amides are reduced by LiAlH₄. The -C=O group is reduced to 

-CH₂- group. Same reduction can also be carried out by H₂/Ni.
