We have been given a wheel with 15 spokes.
We know that two variables are said to be inversely proportional if and only if they are directly proportional to one another's reciprocal. If x and y   are two variables in inverse variations, then
xy=k,   where k is a proportionality constant.
Total angle of a wheel is 360°  .
Here, if the number of spokes increases, then the angle between each consecutive will decrease making a constant centre angle of 360°   for each case (k=360°)  .
So, it is in the inverse proportion.
Let the angle between a pair be θ   for 15 spokes.
So,
15×θ=360°  
θ= 360° 15 θ=24°  
Therefore, the angle between a pair of consecutive spokes on a wheel with 15 spokes is 24°  .
Hence, option 2 is correct.
