Yes, displacement can be zero even if an object has moved some distance. Displacement means how far and in what direction an object is from its starting point. 

Distance means how much the object has traveled in total, no matter where it went. If the object moves and comes back to where it started, its displacement is zero because it is back at the starting place. But the distance is the total steps it took to go and come back. 

Example: If a person walks 10 meters east and then 10 meters west, the total distance walked is 20 meters. But the displacement is zero because the person is back where they began.
