Detailed Solution

Cell wall of archaebacteria has pseudopeptidoglycan. It has glycans in the form of N-acetyl glucosamine and N-acetyl talosamine uronic acid. It has short peptides consisting of amino acids lysine and glutamine between which peptide bonds are formed. NAG and NAT are linked by β-1, 3 glycosidic bond due to which penicillin and lysozyme can not lyse the cell wall.
