CH3-CH2-CH2-Cl alc KOHCH3-CBH=CH2 CH3-CH=CH2HBrCH3-CCHBr-CH3 CH3-CHBr-CH3etherNaCH3-CDH2CH3-CH2CH3-CH3

CH3-CH2-CH2-Cl reacts with alcoholic KOH and undergoes elimination reaction to give CH3-CH=CH2 which further undergoes addition reaction in presence of HBr to give CH3-CHBr-CH3. On further reaction with Na/ether it gives the product CH3-CH2CH3-CH2CH3-CH3 i.e. 2,3-dimethyl butane.
