Change direct speech into indirect speech

"It won't bark at you, "my neighbour said.

Direct speech is that speech that is used to quote the exact words spoken. Indirect speech is that speech that tells you what someone said but does not use the person's actual words. Pronouns usually change from first or second person to the third person except when the speaker reports his own words. Option A is correct because the pronoun "you " is changed to "me". Reporting verb in direct speech is in present tense while converting to indirect speech it should be past tense. Therefore the word "won't" will change into "would not".
