Detailed Solution

The above mentioned statement is true.
Huan Tsang was a Buddhist pilgrim.
Huan Tsang was a Buddhist pilgrim who came to India around 1400 years ago and visited places associated with Buddha's life. He came during the period of Harshavardhana, who was a famous ruler of the Pushyabhuti dynasty. He also studied in Nalanda, the most famous Buddhist monastery of the period. Nalanda University was famous for its highly qualified teachers and talented students who followed the teachings of Buddha. Many discussions were held among the old and the young students who used to help each other. He went back to China on the land route along with him, and he also carried the statues of Buddha.
