The word Nawab refers to a Muslim ruling leader from the Mughal empire who ruled over a state and was in the administration power of that state and had the right to implement changes in that state accordingly. Nawabs were usually wealthy and owned vast land. He also had a right to make decisions about the state or the welfare of the state. But after the battle of Plassey, nawabs were forced to send the gift of a part of the land, food items, and royal gifts to Britishers.
