It is very difficult to change the federalism system of India because the division of powers in the federal system of India is between the central government and the state government and making a change here is not easy at all, in other words it will be a very complicated process. Parliament alone cannot change the federalism system. To change this system, we first need at least a two-thirds majority by both the houses of the Parliament, i.e., both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, then after that, it should be ratified by the legislature of at least half of the states. And this system is quite effective in the present time as compared to earlier.
