All other youth organizations were systematically disbanded and eventually banned to unite the youth movements under the control of national socialism. Hitler Youth was NSDAP's second oldest paramilitary organization. The organization started in March 1922 as the NSDAP Youth League. The government temporarily banned Nazi organizations after the Nazis attempted to overthrow the German government during Beer Hallpucci in November 1923. This ban included a youth league. However, the youth movement continued in secret, especially as the Great German Youth Movement was established in 1924. After the ban was lifted, the official NSDAP youth organization became Hitler Youth, Bund Deutscher ArbeiterJugend, in July 1926. This organization has been officially incorporated into SA.
