Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
Gandhi launched the Non-cooperation movement after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. On September 5, 1920, Mahatma Gandhi led the Non-Cooperation Movement. The party introduced the Non-Cooperation programme during the Calcutta Congress session in September 1920. From then to February 1922 is considered the timeframe of the Non-Cooperation movement. The Jallianwala Bagh Massacre catalysed the Non-Cooperation Movement's inception but was abandoned due to the Chauri Chaura tragedy in 1922. Because the INC was willing to withhold constitutional measures to attain self-rule, the Non-Cooperation campaign marked a turning point in the independence process.
