The Treaty of Allahabad was signed in 1765. The Treaty of Allahabad was the consequence of the Battle of Buxar. In 1765 AD, Robert Clive and Emperor Shah Alam II signed the Treaty of Allahabad. The East India Company agreed to return Koda and the district of Allahabad to Shah Alam II through this treaty. At the same time, the company agreed to pay the emperor Rs 26 lakh in annual dues.
