Detailed Solution

The above statement is True.
Importance of the Civil Disobedience Movement: The civil disobedience movement was launched against the emergence of the Simon Commission. This continued between 1930-34. Complete independence was the primary goal of the civil disobedience movement that made this claim during the Lahore session. It was a mass movement in its own right. Mahatma Gandhi launched the famous Salt March. On  April 6, he solemnly broke the law of making salt by boiling seawater, marking the beginning of the civil disobedience movement. The civil disobedience movement sparked a wave of nationalism across the country, putting the British government in a difficult position. He expanded the base of the freedom struggle. The movement's leaders mobilised many social groups, such as merchants and traders, farmers, tributes, and labourers. More importantly, it demonstrated that Indians could resist violence with tolerance and courage.
