Detailed Solution

The above statement is True.
The second round table was held in London from 7 September 1931 to 1 December 1931 with the participation of Gandhi and the Indian National Congress. The session began on September 7, 1931.  The British decided to give a general award to minority representation in India by providing separate electoral bodies for minority communities. Gandhi was against that. At this conference, Gandhi and Ambedkar disagreed on the issue of separate constituencies for the untouchables. Gandhi was against treating the untouchables as separate from the Hindu community. Hence, the second roundtable was considered a failure due to the many disagreements among the participants. While the INC vowed to speak out for the whole country, other participants and leaders of other parties opposed the statement. This problem was solved by the Poona Pact of 1932.
