Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
Khan Bacha Khan, also known as Abdul Ghaffar Khan, was a Pashtun nationalist who fought to overthrow the British Raj in India. He was a devoted follower of Mahatma Gandhi and the movement's leader in Peshawar for civil disobedience. The founder of non-violent mass civil disobedience in India, Mahatma Gandhi and Ghaffar Khan, formed a strong, enlightened friendship. They both had great respect for one another and collaborated closely until 1947. Ghaffar Khan was detained on April 23, 1930, during demonstrations related to the Salt Satyagraha.  Because of his commitment to nonviolence, he was strongly associated with Gandhi, earning the nickname "Frontier Gandhi" in India.
