Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
Ajmer was the capital of the Chauhan rulers. In the eleventh century, Ajmer, Rajasthan, served as the Chauhan Kings' capital and then as the Mughals' suba headquarters. It serves as an excellent illustration of religious tolerance. The outstanding king of the Chauhan dynasty was Ajayaraja. In 1113, he founded the town of Ajmer, which was formerly known as Ajyameru. It became the seat of his realm under him. The city is located on the lower slopes of Taragarh Hill, with a fortress perched atop it. In 1193, it was included in the Slave dynasty of the Delhi sultanate. It was given back to the Rajput kings when tribute was paid, but Akbar, the Mughal emperor who ruled from 1556 to 1605, took it in 1556.
