Detailed Solution

The given statement is true.
The official history of the rule of Akbar, the third Mughal Emperor, is known as the Akbarnama, which is also known as the Book of Akbar. Akbar personally ordered Abu'l-Fazl ibn Mubarak, his court historian, and biographer, to write it. It contains colourful and in-depth accounts of his life and times and was written in Persian, the Mughals' literary language. It was followed by the Baburnama, a more intimate narrative written by his grandfather Babur, the dynasty's founder. It was created in the style of manuscripts with opulent illustrations. The author of the piece, Abul Fazl, was one of the Nine Jewels (also known as the Navaratnas in Hindi) of Akbar's royal court. It is claimed that it took seven years to finish the book.
