At the same time, the land was declared social property. Even the houses were partitioned according to the requirement of the family size. Later in 1917, the Bolshevik party was renamed the Russian Communist Party after they decided to conduct an election for the National Assembly in November 1917, which resulted in a disappointing win. They didn't gain majority support. In January 2018, this very assembly was dismissed by Lenin because it rejected the Bolshevik measures.
