Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
Following the creation of the Delhi Sultanate, large Sufi centres arose in India, the most influential of which was the Chishti silsila. "Silsila" is an Arabic word that means "chain." It signifies "lineage" in Sufism. During the Sultanate period, several silsilas became famous in India. The most well-known are Suhrawardi silsila and Chishti silsila. Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti introduced Chishti silsila to India. He settled in Ajmer and is respected by both Muslims and non-Muslims. The major grounds for Chishti silsila's popularity were equal treatment of the rich and poor. Furthermore, he helped the state by fostering an environment in which individuals from various walks of life and religious communities could coexist peacefully. It has also implemented religious tolerance.
