Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
Jam-i-Jahan-Nama was a Persian newspaper that was published in 1822. Sambad Koumudi was born to an influential Bengali journalist and one of Sambad Koumudi's co-founders, Tara Chand Dutta. Sadasukhlal served as the paper's editor. It was the country's third-language newspaper, following Bengali and English newspapers. Up until 1888, it was still being published regularly. Munshi Harsukh Rai began publishing the weekly Kohinoor on January 14, 1850, with a circulation of 350 copies, which was unusually high at the time. He started the first daily in Urdu, the Urdu Guide, out of Calcutta back in 1858. Roznamha-e-Punjab, a Lahore-based newspaper, was founded in the same year. Munshi Nawal Kishore started the first Urdu newspaper to be based in Lucknow in 1858. It was called Oudh Akhbar.
