Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
India joined a select club of nations on April 1, 2010, when it passed a landmark law declaring every child's right to an education as a Fundamental Right. The Indian Constitution's Article 21-A mentions this right to education. For children aged 6 to 14, this right makes basic education required and a right. Children who do not already attend school will immediately benefit from the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act. Since it is required of the local and state governments to make sure that all children in the age range of 6 to 14 attend school, children who had either dropped out of school or had never attended any educational institution would get elementary education. The cost of this load will be shared between the centre and the states.
