Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
A microlith is a tiny stone tool commonly constructed of chert or flint. It is normally around a centimetre long and half a centimetre wide. People created them in Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia between 35,000 and 3,000 years ago. The microliths were used to make arrowheads and spear points. Between the Palaeolithic and Neolithic eras, the Mesolithic Age was a transitional period. John Lubbock first used the phrases "Palaeolithic" and "Neolithic" in his 1865 book Pre-Historic Times. Hodder Westropp added the Mesolithic group in 1866 as a middle ground. This age's inhabitants subsisted on hunting, fishing, and foraging for food. They then began domesticating animals as well. The individuals also began painting. The paintings included images of birds, animals, people, etc. These paintings were discovered at Bhimbetka, Madhya Pradesh.
