It was found on the Chil Zena outcrop's mountainside, on the western edge of Kandahar. Two other Greek inscriptions from Kandahar are known. In contrast, they are written in the northwest in Kharosthi script and Kandahar, Afghanistan, in Aramaic, Greek script, and Greek language. Ashoka used to describe his Edicts: "Dhama Lipi."
