Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
Socialists and Communists were irreconcilable enemies in Germany. Soviet ideology shaped the atmosphere of Berlin in the 1920s. The Spartacist league organised an uprising in Berlin based on the lines of the Bolsheviks' revolution. They demanded a soviet style government. However, the democrats, socialists, and Catholics were opposed to it. They wanted to establish a democratic government in Germany. The political atmosphere was filled with disparity. Free Corps crushed the uprising of  Spartacist. Spartacists founded the Communist Party of Germany. They always remained opposed to the Socialists. Their enmity could not compete with Hitler, and Hitler exploited it to rise to power.
