Detailed Solution

Chylomicrons, being large and bulky, exit absorptive cells through exocytosis. Due to their size, they cannot enter blood capillaries, which have small pores. Instead, they enter lacteals, lymphatic vessels with larger pores. From lacteals, chylomicrons travel through lymphatic vessels to the thoracic duct, entering the blood at the junction of the left internal jugular and left subclavian veins. The hydrophilic protein coat around each chylomicron prevents them from sticking together and keeps them suspended in the blood.
