Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
The idea of Satyagraha emphasised the power of truth and the need to search for truth. Mahatma Gandhi returned to India in January 1915 from South Africa, where he conducted a unique type of public protest known as Satyagraha to resist racial injustice. If the cause was just and the struggle was for justice, physical violence was not required to resist the oppressor. Without resorting to violence or seeking vengeance, a Satyagrahi might resolve the disagreement. It could be possible to achieve this by appealing to the oppressor's conscience. People, including oppressors, had to be convinced of the truth rather than compelled to accept it through violence. As a result of this fight, the truth was destined to triumph. Mahatma Gandhi considered nonviolence to be dharma.
