On the steel hilt of Tipu Sultan, the following inscription (translated into English) is found: "My sword of victory is the lightning that destroys the unbelievers. Haidar, the Lord of Faith, won to my advantage. And more than that, he destroyed the unbelieving evil race. Tippu Sultan adopted a tiger as a symbol of his rule. During a fight in Travancore, he lost his sword. And, currently, it is on display at the Wallace Collection, Number One, Manchester Square, London.
