The Nazis created the security forces to control society. Hitler opined for enormous control and surveillance of the state. For this purpose, special police forces were set up. Gestapo, the SS, criminal police and the Security service (SD) were formed for his purpose. These forces were given the extra-constitutional rights to control society. They could arrest or detain anyone without any legal procedures. The people were detained in concentration camps, torture chambers, etc. This made the Nazi party the most dreaded criminal state.
