Given the statement that every kite is a parallelogram.
Considering PQRS as parallelogram and IJKL as kite:
In PQRS,
Since, in parallelogram opposite sides are equal and parallel.
Therefore, we have

In IJKL,
A kite is made up of four straight lines in which two pairs of sides are there and each pair is made of two adjacent sides i.e., they are equal in length. Also, in a kite one diagonal of a quadrilateral bisects the other.
