Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
The Aryans, according to Phule, were newcomers from outside the subcontinent who conquered and oppressed the actual natives of the land, those who had been residing there long before the arrival of the Aryans. Phule claimed that the so-called low castes, or indigenous people, had a right to the land, whereas the "higher" castes had no claim. Before Aryan control, according to Phule, the Maratha countryside was ruled through inequitable fairways by the warrior-peasants who tilled the ground. He suggested that Shudras (worker castes) and Ati Shudras (untouchables) banded together to fight caste prejudice. The Satyashodhak Samaj promoted caste equality, an organisation Phule created.
Hence, the Satyashodhak Samaj was formed by Phule to promote caste equality.
