Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
Guru Gobind Singh was the tenth guru of the Sikhs. Guru Gobind Singh was Gobind Rai, the 10th Sikh Guru. When his father, Guru Tegh Bahadur, was beheaded for refusing to convert to Islam, Guru Gobind Singh was formally chosen as the tenth Sikh Guru at the age of nine. His four sons died during his lifetime, two in battle and two by the Mughal army's executioners. He was a poet, a philosopher, a warrior, and a spiritual master. Guru Gobind Singh fought many battles both before and after the establishment of the Khalsa in 1699 against the Rajput and Mughal emperors.
