Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
Humayun, Babur's son, succeeded him as the ruler of the Mughal Empire in 1530. Following his father's wishes, Humayun distributed his inheritance. Each of his brothers received a province. His brother, Mirza Kamran, 's aspirations damaged Humayun's position against Afghan rivals. Humayun was forced to flee to Iran by Sher Khan's victories over him at Chausa and Kannauj in 1539 and 1540, respectively. However, the Safavid Shah provided support for Humayun in Iran. Humanyun re-established the Mughal Empire at Delhi in 1555 after defeating Sher Shah Suri. He passed away the following year after taking a fatal fall from his library's steps at Dinpanah.
