Detailed Solution

The given statement is true. Gladstone famously said, "Justice delayed is justice denied." When the Court's decision takes a long time, it allows for more room for wrongdoing, which is equivalent to denied justice. The judiciary is one of the four important pillars of democracy, along with the executive, legislative, and press branches. People's trust in the judiciary keeps it going. When justice is delayed, the person acquitted of criminal charges has the power/wealth to silence the victim. As a result, the victim is endangered by delayed justice. If the Court takes too long to prosecute the case, the criminal may persuade the false witness to testify against the victim. The delayed judgment allows the criminals to destroy the evidence. The victim suffers mental trauma as a result of delayed judgment. As a result, any delay in justice is equivalent to a denial of justice.
