Non-cooperation became a nationwide struggle. The non-cooperation movement was started by Gandhi in 1920. The idea of noncooperation was first introduced by Gandhi in his book Hind Swaraj, where he said that since the British established their rule in India with the cooperation of the Indians, it would only collapse when the partnership is removed. Initially, noncooperation began in stages with the surrender of British titles and a boycott of titles to British foreign institutions and assets, followed by a campaign of civil disobedience. Finally, at the Nagpur National Assembly session in 1920, the program of non-cooperation was passed. If the government uses repressive methods, a full-scale civil disobedience campaign will be launched. At the same time, Gandhiji and Shaukat Ali began touring and building support for the movement.
