Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
The Maasai are monotheists, and their Lord is called Engai or Enkai, a mostly benevolent God who manifests in different colours, depending on how he feels. The traditional way of life of the Maasai people focuses on livestock as their primary source of food. A Maasai myth says that God gave them all the livestock on earth, leading to the belief that stealing from other tribes was a matter of claiming what was rightfully theirs, a practice that has become much less common today. These colours have specific meanings: black and dark blue mean that God is good to men; on the other hand, red is identified with the wrath of God.
