Detailed Solution

The above statement is true.
In the early medieval era, the Chahamans were a powerful dynasty. They were a well-known ruling dynasty of the Rajputana clan and were in charge of the modern-day territories of Rajasthan. When the Chalukyas of Gujarat and the Gahadavalas of the western Uttar Pradesh region attempted to extend their dynasty to the western and eastern sections of the region, they were hostile. The Ghaznavids and the Ghorids, respectively, also launched invasions and wars against them beginning in the eleventh century. Their most potent king, Prithiviraj Chauhan, was defeated and ultimately assassinated by the Ghurid ruler Mohammad Ghori, effectively ending their empire.
